Bluetooth Digital Scale
Weighing bottles is the most accurate way to track partial bottles. While you can enter quantities as decimals (for example 0.5 bottles), if you need better accuracy than you can achieve by estimating how full each bottle is you will want to purchase an Etekcity Blutooth Digital Scale. BarkeepApp connects directly to the Etekcity scale and automatically reads the bottle weight, making this option quick, easy and accurate.

There are many other models of Bluetooth digital scales available. Only those purchased through barkeepapp.com are certified to work with BarkeepApp. Other models will not work with BarkeepApp and are not supported by Barkeep. We are not able to provide assistance with or answer questions about scales purchased elsewhere.
Barcode Scanners
Scanning barcodes is faster and helps avoid mistakes. This can be particularly important when you have a lot of similar items, like products that come in multiple sizes and products with similar names. You can use your iPhone's built-in camera to scan barcodes, but for larger venues it can be worth the cost to invest in a laser barcode scanner.
The Linea Pro laser barcode scanner attaches directly to your iOS device. If you purchase a Linea Pro, please be careful to purchase the model that is comptible with your iOS device.
The Nexus Connect laser barcode scanner is a pistol-grip style scanner that communicates to your iOS device via Bluetooth. The Nexus Connect is compatible with all iOS devices currently supported by Barkeep.

Compatibility
Linea Pro barcode scanners are cases that you slide your iOS device into. Each Linea Pro model is designed for a specific iOS model. Please be certain to purchase the Linea Pro that matches you iOS device.
For compatibility with multiple iOS models, we recommend the Nexus Connect barcode scanner.
Keg Scale
We strongly recommend weighing partial kegs. Unfortunately, the only Bluetooth scales that support the weight of a keg are prohibitively expensive. Instead, we recommend buying an Accuteck Shipping Scale. This scale has a digital display. While it doesn't directly integrate with BarkeepApp you can read the keg weight from the digital display and manually enter the weight into BarkeepApp. This is a very affordable and simple solution allowing you to get highly accurate results for partial kegs.
